Zac Brown Band changed things up musically on their latest album, Jekyll + Hyde. One such example is their current hit, “Loving You Easy,” on which Zac Brown tells The Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald the band threw a little Motown in the mix. “To me it’s just like a tip of the hat to old like Philly soul or old type of Motown music. To me it’s like a modern day oldie. It’s also just respect to our ladies just being in the house and in the home where they’re just natural, you know? It’s not about getting all fixed up and getting a dress on and makeup and everything. It’s just about the beauty of a woman like in her natural state. It’s a great, great feeling that a guy has when he sees his lady at home happy and content, and that’s really just trying to capture the spirit of what that is, and it’s short just like an old song, too, you know? A lot of The Beatles’ hits were like two minutes long.”
